What Sporecyte is

AirTrap is the sampling side – the cassette and the pump. Sporecyte is what happens to the slide once it reaches the lab: the slide is digitised on a whole-slide scanner, the Sporecyte AI identifies and counts spores and other particles on the image, and a specialist checks the result before the report is issued.

Sporecyte was trained on hundreds of thousands of images classified by mycologists; it reads every sample with the same attention.

Indoor vs. outdoor

Indoor samples compared with the outdoor reference from the same property.
