If you assess buildings for mould, sign off remediation or manage a portfolio, you need results that are comparable from job to job and that hold up in a report. The AirTrap® XL Starter Complete Set gives you that from the first sample: a calibrated 15 l/min pump with automatic timer, eight AirTrap® XL cassettes and eight analyses by our partner lab Sporecyte™ – total spore count with results in spores/m³ per genus, checked by a specialist before the report is issued.

How it works
- Sample: fit an AirTrap® XL cassette to the pump and run it for 5 minutes (75 litres).
- Send: register the samples in the online return form and post the cassettes to the lab in the prepaid return envelope.
- Receive: your Sporecyte™ report arrives by e-mail within a few working days of the sample reaching the lab.

Method, lab and standards
- Method: total spore count by particle sampling on a slit-impaction cassette – the sampling principle described in DIN ISO 16000-20.
- Lab: Sporecyte™ partner lab – AI-assisted spore identification, every result reviewed by a specialist.
- Values: spores/m³ per genus, compared against an outdoor reference sample. The report is the sampling evidence for your assessment; it does not replace it.
- Sampling and documentation are guided by the German UBA mould guideline (2024 edition) and, for clearance measurements, WTA leaflet 4-12.
